Sacramento, CA: The California Storm announced today the re-signing of Erica Grilione, Davis Legacy Soccer Club standout forward, 2023 Stanford commit, and Sacramento Bee’s 2021 Female Soccer Player of the Year. Grilione is consistently ranked one of the top young talents in the nation and is entering Stanford in one of its most anticipated recruitment classes to date alongside other USYNT talent such as Mia Bhuta, Shae Harvey, Joelle Jung and Alyssa Savig.
“I am so excited to compete with this amazing team and be apart of all of the amazing things California storm has accomplished,” said Grilione, about rejoining the Storm for another year.

Helped her team to a league championship (2020) and a division semifinal berth (2021)
Two-time CIF All League (2020-21)
West Park Athlete of the Year (2021)
Sacramento Bee Female Soccer Player of the Year (2021)
NorCal PDP Gothia Cup champion (2022)
Surf Cup semi-finalist (2021)
ECNL round of 16 (2022)
Two-time Northwest ECNL All Conference first team (2021-22)
Has competed with U.S. Youth National Team throughout her youth career
