Sacramento, CA: The California Storm announced today the re-signing of defender Mikayla Reed. Reed was integral to organizing the backline in the Storm’s successful 2022 WPSL Championship run.
“She’s an incredible leader and an incredible person,” said Coach Jamie. “We’re lucky to have her back, providing solid defense and providing advice and guidance to our younger players.”
“I’m excited and ready for another season and to step up to the challenge of a new league,” said Reed, about playing in the USL W League. “I’m looking forward to playing with an outstanding mix of veterans and new talent coming in. The sky is the limit for us this season.”
