Sacramento, CA: The California Storm announced today the re-signing of CSU Monterey Bay’s Brenda Uribe and Mitsy Ramirez, both of whom were integral to the Storm’s successful WPSL Championship run last season.

“I can’t wait to get back to work with the team,” said Brenda Uribe. “I feel honored to hone my craft among such incredible people. The environment is welcoming, but competitive, and the coaching staff pushes you to be better everyday.”

“I’m thankful to be back in the competitive environment that is Storm, and I’m excited to get back to work” said Misty Ramirez.

Last season, Brenda Uribe scored 3 regular season goals and 3 post-season goals, including one goal in the Storm’s victorious Championship match against the Colorado Rapids. Prior to playing for the Storm, she played three years at Concordia University-Portland and one year at CSU Monterey Bay, where she’s since graduated from. She played 71 collegiate matches total. Brenda is a native of East Palo Alto, CA.
